3. Cranberries

$70.3 million

Massachusetts ranks No. 2 in the nation for cranberry production. In 2023, farmers harvested 98,500 tons of cranberries from 11,200 acres, including more than 41,000 barrels of fresh market cranberries and over 1.9 million barrels of cranberries for processing.
