Spotlight on the New Mexico Beef Council
In partnership with: New Mexico Department of Agriculture

Representing a commodity that’s a huge part of New Mexico’s agriculture industry, the New Mexico Beef Council is run by the farmers, ranchers and cattlemen who are dedicated to providing high-quality beef and beef products to consumers. Besides offering support and resources to its members, the New Mexico Beef Council actively contributes to community efforts throughout the state – including the New Mexico Youth Ranch Management Camp, for which it is a sponsor.
Education is a keystone of the organization, especially for youth programs and courses. Besides its outreach with Youth Ranch Management Camp, the New Mexico Beef Council also offers a grant program for New Mexico high schools that teaches food science, nutrition, experimental food, food preparation and culinary arts.
