Invented by pastry chef Dominique Ansel from Dominique Ansel Bakery, a Cronut is best described as a donut made from croissant-like dough, filled with cream and fried in grapeseed oil. They have grown unbelievably famous in recent years, which is why they sell out quickly each and every morning.
