Dominique Ansel’s Cronut
If you know a thing or two about New York, you are probably familiar with the world-renowned Cronut. Invented by pastry chef Dominique Ansel from Dominique Ansel Bakery, a Cronut is best described as a donut made from croissant-like dough, filled with cream and fried in grapeseed oil. They have grown unbelievably famous in recent years, which is why they sell out quickly each and every morning. But if you can get to the store before 9 a.m., you have a good chance of scoring a box.
