Drink Up With These Winning Wines from Ohio Quality Wine

Raise a glass to Ohio’s delicious wines. After evaluating nearly 20 wines at an annual Statehouse event, Ohio Department of Agriculture Director David Daniels announced the Director’s Choice recipients.

These well-deserved wines are eligible for Ohio Quality Wine designation, meaning they were made from at least 90 percent Ohio-grown grapes.

The 2018 winners for the Director’s Choice awards included Debonné Vineyards in Lake County, Meranda-Nixon Winery in Brown County, Henke Winery in Hamilton County and Kosicek Vineyards in Ashtabula County.
