Ingredients

  • 1 ⅔ cup plain, whole-milk Greek yogurt
  • 2 cups frozen cherries
  • ¼ cup honey
  • ½ vanilla bean, seeded

Instructions

  1. Place the yogurt in the freezer for about 20 to 30 minutes before beginning the recipe to allow the frozen yogurt to set faster.
  2. Place the frozen cherries in a food processor or high-powered blender and process until coarsely chopped.
  3. Remove yogurt from the freezer and add to the food processor or blender with the cherries. Add the honey and vanilla bean seeds (or vanilla extract). Process until mixture is thick and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed.
  4. Transfer mixture to a loaf pan and freeze for 1 hour. Stir the mixture and return to the freezer for an additional 4 hours.
  5. Once yogurt is completely frozen, remove it from the freezer and let it thaw for about 2 minutes on the counter before scooping and serving.

Tips & Notes

You can sub ½ teaspoon vanilla extract for the vanilla bean seeds, but the seeds are recommended for the best flavor.
