Strawberry Lemon Tart

Ingredients
- 2 pie crusts
- 2 tablespoons lemon zest, divided
- 1 ½ cups strawberry preserves
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
- ¼ cup powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Roll out 1 pie crust and place in an 8-inch springform or tart pan with removable bottom.
- In a bowl, combine 1 tablespoon lemon zest with the preserves. Spread the mixture evenly over the pie crust and top with sliced berries.
- Roll out the remaining pie crust and cut into 1-inch strips. Place strips over the top of the tart in a lattice pattern. Bake for 30 minutes, until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbly. Allow to cool completely.
- Remove outside bracket or ring from the bottom piece of springform or tart pan, being careful not to break the crust. Sprinkle powdered sugar and remaining lemon zest over the tart and serve.
