Dairy Products and Milk

$129.6 million in cash receipts

Tennessee’s 130 dairy farms produced 494 million pounds of milk in 2022 from an inventory of 26,000 dairy cows, equivalent to more than 18,000 pounds of milk per cow. Loudon County leads the state in dairy production.
