Beaumont

Located just a hop, skip and a jump from Beaumont, Donna’s Farm is a family-owned and operated farm with a passion for bringing quality garden produce to residents in the community. You can spot them at the weekly Beaumont Farmer’s Market, but they also run a bustling farm stand on their own property. Chosen Weeds Farm in Bridge City not only sells a variety of enticing products but also offers a number of educational classes and workshops. Their family homesteading classes cover topics like raising chickens and ducks, growing your own produce throughout the seasons, and learning how to use herbs and forage in nature.

3. Aubrey Oaks Alpacas

Wildseed Farms in Fredericksburg has been cultivating wildflower fields for seed production for more than 35 years. Believe it or not, they are actually the nation’s largest working wildflower farm. How’s that for a fun farm outing? They don’t charge for admission and are open throughout the year, but be aware that their walking trails shut down half an hour before closing time.

8. Texas Ranch Life
