Vermont Grand View Farm

It’s only fitting to begin our list with the farm that brought the first herd of Swedish Gotland sheep to the Green Mountain State. The owners of Vermont Grand View Farm fell head over heels for the state more than three decades ago and decided to pursue a life of self-sufficiency by means of operating their own farm. They not only grow a variety of produce and harvest maple syrup from their trees, but they also raise lambs and pigs. You can enjoy the fruits of their labor through their farm stay, by taking classes or perusing their retail shop, which is full of everything from knitting patterns and felted garments to yarn and tea towels.
