Virginia Agriculture Week 2023 Photo Contest Captures a Love of Agriculture
In partnership with: Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services
For Virginians who live in rural areas and work in the agriculture industry, the saying “a picture is worth a thousand words” couldn’t ring truer. The beauty of wide-open spaces and their love of the land are often hard to sum up in words, so many have turned to photography to express love for what they do and what agriculture means to them.
The 2023 Virginia Agriculture Week photo contest saw a record number of entries and included beautiful depictions of several new categories, including Faces of Agriculture, Farm Tractors and Equipment, Farmers Market and Farm Shops, Fields, and Fresh Catch.
This is an annual contest and those with an eye for Virginia Grown beauty should stay tuned for information on the 2024 contest in late spring.
