In addition to superb agriculture, Virginia is also home to many talented photographers. During the summer of 2022, the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services hosted the annual Virginia Agriculture Week Photo Contest and included several new categories to highlight the industry. The photo contest categories were Agricultural Landscapes, Virginia Livestock, Celebrate Local, Virginia Produce and Crops, and Virginia Aquaculture.

VDACS will host the popular photo contest again this year to help promote Virginia Agriculture Week. Be on the lookout for details on the 2023 photo contest in late spring.
