3. Dianthus

Also nicknamed “pinks,” the Dianthus flower is in the carnation family and is known for its fragrant blossoms that smell like cloves and cinnamon. You can purchase these plants as annuals, biennials or perennials, and many gardeners use them to adorn pots or decorate landscape borders. If you decide to incorporate these beauties into your yard, be sure to provide fertile and well-drained soil and place them in a spot that offers a minimum of six hours of sunshine.

    It could use color, but the correct plant 🪴 for the environment
