4. Cornflowers

Vibrant blue cornflowers are common across the country these days, but they began as wildflowers that grew across Europe, often found in cornfields. They prefer to grow in sunny, semi-dry soil and can be purchased as annuals or perennials. General advice is to start these plants indoors from seed to achieve the best coloration. While you can find them in hues ranging from pink to burgundy, their original and natural color is the bright and saturated blue most commonly associated with their name.

    It could use color, but the correct plant 🪴 for the environment
