There are approximately 2.17 million hogs in Oklahoma, and about 12,100 Oklahomans work in pork production. According to the Oklahoma Pork Council, Oklahoma’s pork industry is ranked eighth among U.S. pork-producing states. Hogs brought in $917.7 million in annual cash receipts.
