Antipasto Skewers

Antipasto Skewers make a super simple yet elegant summer appetizer. Thread them with salami, prosciutto, olives, tomatoes, basil, artichoke hearts and mozzarella, then let them marinate in Italian dressing before serving or packing in a cooler for a picnic.

Ingredients

  • 12 Kalamata olives
  • 12 small round slices salami 
  • 12 grape or cherry tomatoes
  • 12 basil leaves
  • 12 artichoke hearts
  • 6 slices prosciutto, cut in half
  • 12 mozzarella balls 
  • ¼ cup Italian salad dressing

Instructions

  1. Thread 12 medium-size bamboo skewers each with an olive, a salami slice, a grape or cherry tomato, a basil leaf, an artichoke heart, a folded prosciutto slice and a mozzarella ball. 
  2. Place skewers in a large dish and drizzle evenly with the salad dressing.
  3. Cover dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate until ready to serve.
