9. Heleniums

Heleniums come in every shade of orange, red and brown imaginable, each one more vibrant than the last. It could be why they are notorious for attracting butterflies in droves. These fall flowers prefer moist soil and do best in zones 3 through 8. Be sure to give them ample space to spread out once planted because they can easily reach heights of 5 feet tall when fully mature.

  1. What do you suggest for zone 9 or 10 Arizona area
    It could use color, but the correct plant 🪴 for the environment
